The apple represents Newton's famous discovery whereas the question mark is symbolic of child's young and inquisitive mind, which needs nurturing and encouragement. The paper boat and the paper planes against an open window are symbolic of a child's desire to be close to the nature and not remain within the confines of a classroom.
